My interactions with young lawyers across the country — especially the underprivileged — revealed their vulnerable economic conditions, an unjust and exploitative working environment, and the discriminatory attitude of senior practitioners and judges towards them. This compelled me to form the Young Lawyers Welfare Alliance.

I chose to work for this cause rather than confine myself to building my own practice within the privileged strata of the profession. I am committed, and willing to give my time, resources, energy, and expertise to it — working for the betterment of our country’s young lawyers, and through them, a bright judicial future for Pakistan.
